What convertwebmcp.com collects when you request a scan, why, and how to have it deleted.
This policy explains what we collect when you use convertwebmcp.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. "We" means the team that runs convertwebmcp.com. Questions go to hello@convertwebmcp.com.
What we collect
When you request a scan or ask about a service, you give us:
- your store's web address
- your email address
- any notes you add, and which service you asked about
With the request we also receive the browser details your browser sends (its user-agent string) and the page you came from. We use your IP address for a few minutes to stop repeated automated requests; we don't store it with your request.
When an AI agent requests a scan for you through the tools this site offers to agents, we receive the same details the form would send. The agent is expected to confirm them with you first.
When you browse the site, our hosting provider records standard server logs (for example IP address, time and page requested) to keep the site running and secure. This site doesn't use advertising trackers, and it doesn't set cookies to track you.
What we do with it
- Run the scan and email you the report.
- Reply about the services you asked about, and follow up once or twice about the report.
- Protect the site against abuse.
We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
What the scan looks at
The scan reads your store's public pages the way a shopper or an AI agent would. We don't log in to your store and don't access your admin, orders or customer data. If you later hire us for a build, we agree in writing what access we need first.
Who else handles it
A small number of service providers handle data for us: the company that hosts this website (Vercel) and the tools that deliver scan requests to our inbox. They process it only to provide their service to us. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep scan requests and reports for as long as we need them to deliver the scan and answer questions about it, then delete them. Ask us and we'll delete yours sooner. Hosting logs follow our provider's retention period.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Email hello@convertwebmcp.com. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, including the right to complain to a data protection authority.

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
